"WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN" - SEPTEMBER 21, 2012
The Cornerstone Women gathered together and enjoyed a Taco Salad Bar.

Judy Tomm, Cornerstone Women Coordinator, welcomed everyone.
Judy then gave an overview of W.O.W.
Amy Smith shared about opportunities to serve in Worship which included music, drama, communion, decorations and more.
Brenda Kline then shared how women can serve by volunteering for special projects or tasks in the office as a way to support each of the ministries of Cornerstone.
Laura Anderson outline some of the opportunities for Cornerstone Women to encourage the Church family through the Caring Ministry.
Rose Godfrey shared how the greeting card ministry now called "Grateful Greetings" was used to encourage her as she encouraged others.
Diane Smalley presented the numerous opportunities Cornerstone Women have to encourage one another.
Marilyn Boyd presented opportunities for Cornerstone Women in the retirement years and how their lives can be enriched through service to others.
Shawna Craft spoke about the numerous opportunities Cornerstone Women have to support the Cornerstone Kids and Cornerstone Youth ministries.
Diane Smalley also presented the opportunities Cornerstone Women have to reach out to others.

Judy drew the first portion of the evening to a close.
After the women completed the survey on areas where they had interest in serving, it was time to turn WOW upside down. Chelsea Stallings worked out a scheme to get Amy Smith out of the building for a few minutes.
WOW was turned upside down into a MOM event!
The room was then transformed into a surprise Baby Shower.
And now for the moment we were awaiting......
WOW - becomes a MOM event - "SURPRISE AMY"
WOW!
Amy was overwhelmed and in awe of what everyone had done!
Jenny Finitzer, Aimee Palma, and Chelsea Stallings assisted Amy with the gift opening.
The evening ended with singing HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD together and the encouragement to go and grow Higher, Stronger, Deeper and Farther.
